Adrian Standen’s fascination with the natural world began in his childhood, spent exploring the picturesque landscapes surrounding his family’s home in Ditchling. Growing up in this idyllic setting instilled in him an appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the environment, igniting a lifelong passion for conservation and sustainability.

Being the director of Standen’s of Ditchling Ltd, a landscape business established in 1960 by his father, Adrian has decades of experience working with ponds and lakes.
